Jamestown Woman Struck While Crossing Between Cars On Harrison Street

A 21-year-old Jamestown pedestrian was struck by a vehicle Thursday while crossing Harrison Street near South Main Street.

According to Jamestown Police, the pedestrian attempted to walk between cars stopped at the red light on Harrison Street.

While walking, she was struck by a 2006 Pontiac sedan which had the right of way with a green left turn signal.

She appeared to be uninjured, but was sent to WCA Hospital for precautionary measures.

The 73-year-old driver of the Pontiac was uninjured.

Charges are pending further investigation, police said.
