Mitchell Pascarella had five strikeouts, Tristan Berardi two hits and Dominic Certo a triple as the Pirates topped the Cubs, 14-6, in the season opener recently.
Aden Froah also fanned five while Mason Matthews and Garrett Swan delivered two hits for the Cubs.
Jed Hirliman fanned four and smacked a two-run triple when the Red Sox tripled the score on the Reds, 9-3.
Trenton Shutters and Michael Gerace had singles for the Red Sox.
Griffin Bogdanowicz struck out three and Kayden Swanson scored two runs for the Reds
Robbie Bellardo and Brody Larson stroked four hits each as the Cardinals decisioned the Royals, 20-12.
Kyle Wojtowicz cracked four hits and earned Offensive Player of the Game and Ebaad Meer was the Defensive Player of the Game in the loss.

Dalton Hendrix banged out three hits and Boden Wendel pitched the victory when the Indians got past the Phillies, 4-3.
Brayden Snow also had three hits for the winners.
Brady Lindstrom had two doubles in support of the pitcher Rylan Wagner in defeat. Anthony Pratt of the Phillies was named Defensive Player of the Game.
SOUTHTOWNS TRAVEL LEAGUE
The Southwestern Gladiators’ 10-year-old squad began its season on Sunday by beating the Fredonia Bombers, 16-8, and the 12-year-old team lost to Holland, 4-1, at LaGrega Field.
Griffin Bogdanowicz swatted a triple and drove in three runs for Southwestern against Fredonia.
Aiden Kennedy struck out five and Ashton Bushey scored two Southwestern runs.
For the Bombers, Nick Whitfield was the pitcher. Defensively John Susz made an outstanding catch in the outfield.
Josh Robertson was the winning pitcher with Jon Staniszewski and Sam Rak the top players for Holland.
For Southwestern, Jacob Payne chalked up three strikeouts. Matt Dallas was the MVP on offense and Zack Martin was the MVP on defense.
JAMESTOWN CAL RIPKEN LEAGUE
Josh Loomis hurled three scoreless innings and struck out the last six batters as Ecklof’s Bakery topped Veterans of Modern Warfare, 6-3.
Steven Glover doubled and Tyler Swegles singled for the winners.
Josh Brown, Isiah Rojas and Dominick Johnson had hits for VOMW.
JAMESTOWN T-BALL LEAGUE
Caden Wahl and Addison Cappalino led the way as the Red Sox battled to a tie with the D&S Glass Rangers.
Eligh DeLeon and Dominick Holmes sparked the Rangers.
NON-LEAGUE LITTLE LEAGUE
David Peterson cracked a pair of doubles as the Sinclairville Mariners outlasted Ellery Steeners, 9-7, in extra innings.
Jeff Fishgold and Nick Moore had two singles for the winners.
T. Moore was on base three times while Martin and Marsh split four runs for Ellery.
