Ashville Woman Arrested For Selling Cocaine
An Ashville woman is behind bars after allegedly selling cocaine to a Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force agent in the city of Jamestown.
Jamestown police arrested Jessica M. Keeler, 22, of 5053 Route 474, Ashville, Friday on an outstanding city court warrant charging her with one count each of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.
City Court Judge John LaMancuso issued the warrant based on information from the task force. Keeler was arraigned and committed to Chautauqua County Jail without bail pending further action by the court.
Police said more charges will be filed against Keeler.
The Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force is comprised of officers from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and city of Dunkirk Police Department. The task force encourages local residents to call 800-344-8702 when they observe narcotics-related activities in their area.
