Rummage Sale Begins Thursday

Christ First United Methodist Church at 663 Lakeview Ave. will hold a rummage sale Thursday from 5-8 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. A $1 bag sale will also be featured on Saturday.

Bridge To Be Closed Friday

LEON – The Cattaraugus County Department of Public Works will close Leon Bridge No. 18 on County Road 5 – Mosher Hollow Road – one quarter-mile north of Kendall Corners in Leon on Friday for approximately four months. An off-site detour will be posted.

Kennedy Grange To Meet Friday

KENNEDY – Kennedy Grange 496 will meet Friday at 7 p.m. in the Clarks Corners Community Church. The Randolph Central School chapter of FFA and grangers from around the county will be guests at the meeting. The grange previously met April 4 at the church. The grangers each brought snack items, which filled two mailing boxes. Easter cards were also enclosed to be given to the Blue Star Mothers, who mailed the boxes to our troops to thank them for their service. It was also reported that Donna Cross made 23 tiny hats for newborns as a community service project.

Thule Lodge To Begin Friday Meals

BEMUS POINT – The Thule Lodge, located at 4123 Pancake Hill Road, will begin the season of Friday night dinners this Friday from 5-7 p.m. The main menu will include a fish dinner, with a second choice meal being a Swedish combination of korv, kaldolmars and Swedish meatballs. All dinners are open to everyone. Thule Lodge is in its 107th year of preserving the Swedish heritage through events and activities. New members are always welcome.

Rummage Sale Begins Friday

The South Dayton United Methodist Church, 328 Pine St., South Dayton, will hold a giant rummage sale on Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a bag sale beginning at noon. A bake sale will also be held both days.

Gerry To Hold Rummage Sale

GERRY – The Gerry United Methodist Church, corner of Route 60 and Church St., Gerry, will hold a rummage and bake sale on Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a bag sale beginning at noon. Snack foods and lunch will be available on both days. The rummage sale will include clothing, toys, household and holiday related items. Annual Craft Bazaar Set

FINDLEY LAKE – The Alexander Findley Library, Findley Lake, will hold its annual spring craft bazaar and will be held on Saturday in the Findley Lake Fire Hall, Main Street, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Handmade craft items will be displayed in both the fire hall and the Water Wheel Building. A bake sale, Chinese auction with prizes donated by participating crafters and door prizes will also be featured. The kitchen will offer a homemade menu throughout the day. Teen Poetry Slam Set For Tonight

Prendergast Library will hold a teen poetry slam for teens and their families at 7 p.m. tonight. Refreshments and prizes will be provided. The library is located at 509 Cherry St., Jamestown. For information, call 484-7135.
