CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

HANOVER – Ronald A. Shane, 46, of Buffalo was charged Sunday with second-degree criminal nuisance. Susan R. Clarke, 43, of Buffalo was charged Sunday with disobeyed traffic control device. At approximately 9:50 p.m., deputies observed Shane exit a vehicle and remove two “Road Closed” barriers that were placed on Hanover Road to block traffic from a large sink hole. Clarke – the driver of the vehicle – then drove through the closed roadway. Deputies stopped the vehicle and charged both subjects. They will return to Hanover Court at a later date.

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Joey D. Stutzman, 19, was charged Friday with criminal mischief and resisting arrest. At approximately 3 p.m., police were called to a domestic incident at a West Ellicott residence. Upon arrival, officers determined that Stutzman was out of control, having broken a glass door earlier. When an officer tried to take Stutzman into custody, he refused to cooperate and fled the scene. After a short foot pursuit, he was taken into custody. Stutzman was remanded to county jail on $2,500 cash or $5,000 property bail.

Kevin N. Young, 24, of Jamestown was charged Saturday with uninspected motor vehicle, no signal, failure to maintain lane, driving while intoxicated and DWI of 0.8 percent or higher. At approximately 1:52 a.m., police observed a vehicle commit several vehicle and traffic law violations on Tiffany Avenue. Police stopped the vehicle and determined that the driver – Young – was intoxicated. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Michael T. Main, 25, of Kennedy was charged Sunday with disorderly conduct. At approximately 4:05 a.m., police observed a vehicle peel out and squeal its tires when leaving the Kingsmen Motorcycle Club on West Main Street in Falconer. Police stopped the vehicle and charged Main for creating the unreasonable noise. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.

Tyler L. Martin, 22, of Sugar Grove was charged Sunday with fugitive from justice. During a street check of four subjects on Bailey Street in Celoron, it was found that Martin had a warrant out of Warren County, Pa. Martin was arraigned in Ellicott Court and remanded to the county jail.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

ASHFORD – Richardo A. Hoyos, 43, of Alliston, Ontario. was charged Tuesday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, speed in zone and no headlamp. At approximately 2 a.m., Hoyos was stopped for speeding and an inadequate headlamp. A check of his license revealed that he was suspended in New York for a failure to answer a summons from Salamanca Court on March 18, 2012. He was arraigned in Ashford Court and remanded to the county jail on $1,100 cash bail. He is due back in Ashford Court at a later date.

SALAMANCA – Damon L. Maull, 29, was charged Saturday with violation of parole. At approximately 4:30 a.m., Maull was arrested in Salamanca on a violation of parole warrant and remanded to the county jail.
