Area Police Reports

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

HANOVER – Candi L. Radowsky, 43, of Silver Creek was charged Thursday with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. At approximately 10:55 p.m., deputies responded to a report of a female passed out on the side of the roadway. Further investigation revealed that the female – Radowsky – was in possession of a dagger-style knuckle knife. Radowsky will appear in Hanover Court at a later date.

MAYVILLE – David M. Douglas, 34, of Mayville was charged Thursday with second-degree assault. At approximately 9 p.m., Douglas was apprehended at a Valley Street residence in Mayville. Douglas was wanted on a second-degree assault warrant. He was arraigned and remanded to the county jail on $3,000 bail/$6,000 property.

NORTH HARMONY – Andrew J. Sheldon, 27, of Ashville was charged Thursday with petit larceny. At approximately 6:15 p.m., deputies apprehended Sheldon on a bench warrant out of North Harmony. Sheldon was wanted out of North Harmony for failing to appear on a charge for petit larceny. He will appear in North Harmony Court at a later date.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

A 16-year-old female of Syracuse was charged Thursday with petit larceny and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property at approximately 7 p.m. It is alleged that she stole $130 merchandise from Sears in the Chautauqua Mall. While processing, she was found to be in possession of $108.88 in merchandise from the DEB store that she did not pay for. She was arraigned and will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

SALAMANCA POLICE DEPARTMENT

Corsha D. Tibbs, 20, of Salamanca was charged Monday with fourth-degree criminal mischief following an incident in Salamanca.

Amos Krause, 29, of Salamanca was charged Sunday with disorderly conduct, second-degree obstruction of governmental administration and resisting arrest. He is being held pending arraignment.

Amy Fisher of Salamanca was charged on April 9 with endangering the welfare of a child. She will appear in court at a later date.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

Justin A. Miller, 20, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with unlicensed operator, inadequate muffler, illegal tint and unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop for a loud muffler and window tint violation. Upon stopping the vehicle, state police detected a strong odor of marijuana and Miller was found to possess 13 grams of marijuana. He was issued traffic tickets and will appear in Cold Spring Court at a later date.
