Maple Grove Sweeps Cassadaga Valley

SINCLAIRVILLE – Maple Grove swept all the matches by 6-0, 6-0 scores and as result recorded a 5-0 West Division boys tennis victory over Cassadaga Valley Thursday afternoon.

The win raised Maple Grove to a 1-1 league record and 2-1 overall. For Cassadaga Valley, it was its league debut and went to 0-2 overall.

SWCS WINS TWO

Host Southwestern (2-0, 3-1) recorded a pair of 5-0 East Division tennis wins over Salamanca (0-2, 1-2) on Thursday.

In the first match, Matt Johnson, Quinn White and Rahim Kardimi won in singles and Lucas Trzygodski and Adam Girts took the doubles.

The same foursome had victories in the second match along with a doubles forfeit.
