Gaworecki — Waterman

Karen Waterman and Joseph Gaworecki Jr. exchanged wedding vows on June 2, 2013, at Lakewood United Methodist Church, Lakewood, N.Y. The Rev. Don Ray, First Presbyterian Church, Jamestown, N.Y., performed the ceremony. Music was provided by Brian Bogey, organist. The bride was escorted by her father.

The bride is the daughter of Kevin and Jody Waterman of Forestville, N.Y. Her husband is the son of Joseph and Marsha Gaworecki Sr.

The bride wore a white A-line satin gown with gathered chiffon overlay and floral applique with chapel train.

Heather Turner was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Shinea Igielinski and Amber Hemphill, cousin of the bride. Flower girl was Jasmine Waterman, niece of bride.

Best man was Petty Officer 2nd Class Jared Gaworecki, brother of the groom. Ushers were Andrew Dole and Brad Patton. Ring bearer was Justin Gaworecki, nephew of the groom.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Forestville Central School, 2004 and 2011 graduate of Jamestown Community College and a 2008 graduate of Empire State College. She is employed as a registered nurse at Brooks Memorial Hospital, Dunkirk, N.Y. Her husband is a 2002 graduate of Southwestern Central School, a 2011 graduate of Jamestown Community College and 2012 graduate of ITT Technical Institute. He is employed as an IT engineer at Bright PlanIT Inc, Buffalo, N.Y.

They honeymooned on a motorcycle trip to Mackinac Island, Mich., and Mount Rushmore, S.D.

They are living in Silver Creek, N.Y.
