CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

NORTH HARMONY – Mark W. Linamen, 56, of Ashville was charged Tuesday with speed in zone and two counts of aggravated unlicensed operation. At approximately 1:10 p.m., Linamen was stopped for speeding on North Maple Street. A New York State license check showed that Linamen’s driving privileges were suspended for failing to answer a summons in Busti Court. He was released with traffic tickets. On the same date at approximately 2:30 p.m., deputies again observed Linamen driving on Stoneledge Road at the intersection of North Maple Street. Linamen sped off on Fairdink Road and then turned onto a driveway attempting to elude police. He then parked next to a barn and slouched down on the front seats. Linamen was taken into custody and arraigned in North Harmony Court. He was committed to county jail in lieu of $2,500 cash or $5,000 property bond.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

OLEAN – Jessalyn Ganoung, 21, of Olean was charged Wednesday with third-degree assault, fourth-degree criminal mischief, endangering the welfare of a child and resisting arrest. At approximately 12:50 a.m., police arrested Ganoung following an investigation into a domestic incident. She was arraigned at Hinsdale Court and remanded to county jail in lieu of $1,500. Ganoung will appear in Olean Court at a later date.

ALLEGANY – Michael C. Jennings, 20, of Charlottesville, Va., was charged Friday with petit larceny and unlawful possession of marijuana. At approximately 3:11 p.m., deputies charged Jennings after a complaint by Wal-Mart employees that he had stolen an iPod charger and cord. Jennings was also in possession of marijuana at the time. He was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in court at a later date.

GREAT VALLEY – Codi T. Curtin, 17, of Salamanca was charged Saturday with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operator, failure to keep right and leaving the scene of a property damage accident. Curtin had an accident on March 15 and failed to report it. He had a revoked license at the time and a prior driving while intoxicated conviction. Curtin was arraigned in Great Valley Court and is due back on April 9 at 9 a.m.

ELLICOTTVILLE – Peter D. Lussier, 34, of Sciota was charged Friday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and speed over the state limit. At approximately 6:40 p.m., Lussier was charged after a traffic stop. He was issued an appearance ticket and will return to Franklinville Court on April 7 at 7 p.m.
