CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
GERRY-Richard D. Mangine, 37, of Dewittville, was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated, DWI Per Se, failing to maintain lane and unlicensed operation. At approximately 4:22 a.m., deputies responded to a one-vehicle property damage accident on Old Chautauqua Road where a vehicle slid off the road and into a tree. Further investigation determined that the driver-Mangine- was intoxicated. He will appear in Gerry Court at a later date.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Christopher S. Skuggen, 18, of Lakewood, was charged Sunday with resisting arrest, obstruction of governmental administration and disorderly conduct. At approximately 10:56 p.m., police responded to 130 W. Fairmount Ave. for a domestic incident in progress. Upon arrival, police spoke with Skuggen who was screaming obscenities and refusing to stop despite multiple warnings from police. While being taken into custody, Skuggen pulled away and a struggle ensued, police said. He was arraigned in Busti Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.
ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
James A. Sheldon, 36, of Falconer, was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated, DWI Per Se and failing to maintain lane. Police were informed that a vehicle had gone off the road at the corner of South Phettplace Street and Lister Avenue in Falconer. Further investigation revealed that the driver-Sheldon-was intoxicated. He was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
Julio A. Rojo-Zavala, 23, of Jamestown, was charged Sunday with unlawful possession of marijuana and speed in zone. As police stopped Rojo-Zavala for speeding, they found him in possession of marijuana. He was issued a traffic citation for speeding and an appearance ticket for the marijuana possession. He will appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
SALAMANCA POLICE DEPARTMENT
Peter Newark, 27, of Salamanca, was charged Thursday with felony driving while intoxicated, felony operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater and unsafe movement of a stopped motor vehicle. Newark will appear in Salamanca court at a later date.
Kirk Beacom, 46, of Randolph, was charged Friday with speeding, moving from lane unsafely, driving to the left of pavement markings, driving while intoxicated and operating a vehicle with a BAC of .08 percent or greater. Beacom was processed and released to a third party. He will appear in city court at a later date.
Samantha J. Miller, 26, of Salamanca, was charged Wednesday with second-degree assault. She will appear in city court at a later date.
Jennifer L. Wnuk, 40, of Salamanca, was charged Wednesday with unlawful growing of cannabis and criminal possession of marijuana. She will appear in city court at a later date.
David J. Klusek, 49, of Salamanca, was charged Wednesday with unlawful growing of cannabis and criminal possession of marijuana. He will appear in city court at a later date.
Tawny E. Kettle, 37, of Salamanca, was charged Wednesday with fourth-degree criminal mischief, petit larceny, third-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal mischief disabling equipment. She will appear in city court at a later date.
