Carlo Presents Flag To BPU

Korean War veteran Peter Carlo presented an American flag, which has been flown over the Capitol in Washington, to the Jamestown Board of Public Utilities for display in its Customer Service Lobby. The Past Commander of Chapter 47 of the Disabled American Veterans and the past Chair of the Disabled Boy Scouts of New York, Carlo noted that this is the 143rd flag he has donated to a school or organization in Jamestown. Carlo’s mission is to honor all veterans who gave their time and complete efforts in our country’s times of need, starting with World War I, World War II, the Korean Conflict, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan. Carlo is pictured, left, with BPU General Manager Dave Leathers and BPU employees Ann Cappalino, Linda Mleczko, Christy Cuifolo, Tammy Anderson and Becky Robbins; and Jamestown Mayor Sam Teresi.
