Beef On Weck Dinner Sunday
CATTARAUGUS – The Immanuel Lutheran Church, 9037 Otto-East Otto Road, Cattaraugus, will hold a beef on weck dinner/bake sale/Chinese auction on Sunday from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $7 for adults; $4 for ages 5 to 12; and free for children under age 4. Pancake Supper Set For Today
ELLINGTON – The Farman Free Library in Ellington will host a pancake supper today from 4:30-7 p.m. in the Community Room at the library. Dinner includes all-you-can-eat pancakes, real maple syrup, sausage, fruit, ice cream and beverage. The cost is $7 for adults, $3 for children 5 to 12, and children under 5 are free. The Chautauqua County Soil & Water Conservation District directors will hold their regular meeting Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. at their offices in the Northcrest Business Park, 220 Fluvanna Ave., Suite 600, Jamestown.

Ballet Classes Begin March 31
Chautauqua Regional Youth Ballet announces ballet classes beginning March 31 for new students. Classes will include pre-ballet for 4- to 6-year-old boys and girls, beginning ballet classes for boys and girls 7 and up and also teen ballet. Some financial aid is available as well as scholarships for boys. Classes will meet on Monday afternoons and run from March 31 to June 9. Outdoor Club To Fly Kites Sunday
RUSSELL, Pa. – On Sunday, the Allegheny Outdoor Club will hold its first Kite Flying Day beginning at 1 p.m. at the Windy Knoll home of Debra and John Young at 1588 Townline Road, Russell, Pa. Participants can bring their own kite or they can build their kite onsite with materials provided by kitemasters John Shinaberger, Michael Muntz and Debra Young. Hot dogs and buns will be provided. Kite flyers should bring a side dish to share. This event is open to the public. Interested children are encouraged to bring their parents. To Begin Sale
The St. James Thrift Store, 141 Institute St., Jamestown, is open on Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Beginning on Wednesday until Wednesday, April 16, a 50-cent sale will feature men’s suits and jackets, ladies blazers and jackets along with the regular $2 a bag sale of regular clothing. Retired Senior Volunteer Program volunteers will be available to assist customers. All proceeds are used to service those in need in the community.
