The Cassadaga Valley Drama Dept. will present the musical “Big” on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in the Cassadaga Valley Auditorium. This musical had a brief Broadway run in 1998 and quickly made its way into the mainstream of musicals. The musical “big,” based on the Tom Hanks movie with the same title, is a story about a young boy who is frustrated about being 12 years old. He finds himself testing the magic powers of a Zoltar machine and wishes he were big. Much to his surprise, it worked. It is a charming story of a boy in a grown up world and dealing with grown up things. Tickets are available by calling Cassadaga Valley High School at 962-8581, ext. 0, during school hours or emailing Dulrich@cvcougars.org. Tickets are also available at the door. The cost is $7.50.
