Jamestown Police Searching For Hit-And-Run Suspect

The Jamestown Police Department is seeking help in finding a driver who left the scene after a hit-and-run accident in the city Thursday.

The accident occurred at the intersection of Barrett Avenue and Baker Street around 1:50 p.m. Thursday afternoon. A car driven by a 35-year-old Jamestown woman was traveling south on Barrett Avenue when a vehicle at a stop sign on Baker Street drove into the passenger’s side of the victim’s car and then sped off.

The victim was treated at WCA Hospital and released.

Jamestown Police are looking for a 2005 or 2006 blue Buick Century or LaCrosse that has front end damage.
