Slippery Roads Cause Multiple Downtown Accidents

Slippery road conditions caused multiple accidents in downtown Jamestown on Wednesday afternoon.

At the intersection of Fifth and North Main streets, a green Ford F-250 slid through the traffic light and collided with a grey Saturn Aura, striking the vehicle on the passenger door, police said. The Ford F-250 sustained minor damages. One injury was reported, and the individual was transported from the scene by AlStar EMS.

The female driver of a red 1997 Saturn heading south on North Main Street slid through the traffic light due to slippery road conditions and impacted a white 1995 Nissan Pathfinder driven by a male heading east on Second Street. No injuries were reported. No tickets were issued.
