Larry A. Bova

WESTFIELD – Larry A. Bova, 56, of Westfield, died Monday, March 10, 2014, at St. Vincent Health Center of Erie, Pa.

Larry was born Oct. 10, 1957, in Westfield, N.Y., the son of the late Angelo and Rita (Manning) Bova.

A Westfield resident all his life, Larry was a graduate of Westfield Academy and Central Schools, and had been employed by Bush Industries in Jamestown for many years. He was most recently employed at the Mogen David Winery prior to his accident and disability.

An avid outdoorsman, Larry enjoyed all outdoor activities, including hunting and fishing. He also was a car enthusiast. Larry was a member of St. Dominic Roman Catholic Church, the Westfield Fish and Game Club, and the Loyal Order Of Moose Lodge 118, all in Westfield.

Larry is survived by his sister, Donna (Anthony) Drake-Fyler of Merthyr Tydsil, Wales, United Kingdom, and by his best friend, Aurelia C. Taylor of Westfield, N.Y. Many cousins and friends and classmates also survive.

Friends may call on Thursday, March 13, 2014, from 6-8 p.m., at the MASON Funeral Home, 37 Clinton St., Westfield, N.Y., and are invited to attend the Mass of Christian burial to be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 14, 2014, at St. Dominic Roman Catholic Church, 15 Union St., Westfield, N.Y., with Monsignor. Albert Clody officiating. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery.
