Lakewood Woman Charged With Growing Marijuana
LAKEWOOD-A Lakewood woman was charged Tuesday for growing and possessing marijuana.
Tiffany D. Boardman, 47, was taken into custody at her residence by members of the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and the Lakewood-Busti Police Department at approximately 7 p.m.
Charged with second-degree criminal possession of marijuana and unlawful growing of marijuana, she was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail on $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 property bond.
Boardman is the wife of Jeffrey Boardman, 48, who was charged on Feb. 21 for growing and possessing marijuana.
SWAT teams from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and the Jamestown Police Department seized more than 150 plants and approximately $160,000 worth of marijuana from four different locations owned by him.
Jeffrey Boardman was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail without bail.
Both arrests were the result of an investigation by the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force that had been ongoing for the past 10 months.
