Sherman Names Students Of Second Quarter
SHERMAN – Sherman Central School officials recently named their Students of the Quarter for the second quarter of the 2013-14 school year. They are as follows:
Jordan Boland is the son of Randy and Dana Boland. JCC calculus, JCC English, AP chemistry, choir and AP microeconomics are Jordan’s favorite classes. Jordan also enjoys running cross country, playing basketball, acting, learning, and hanging out with friends and family. Jordan will be attending St. Bonaventure University. His goal is to receive a bachelor’s degree in bioinformatics with an interest in a pre-dental program. Jordan’s advice to his underclassmen is to not only chase their dreams, but to complete it and make it happen. Jordan would also like to thank all the teachers and staff at Sherman Central School for giving him the best education he could receive.
Josie Allen is the daughter of Willard and Amy Allen. Science, Spanish and technology are Josie’s favorite classes. Josie’s favorite activities are training pigs and eating food. Josie’s career interest is to someday become a park warden. Josie was this year’s spelling bee winner at Sherman Central School. Josie was surprised and pleased that she was selected as Student of the Quarter. Josie would like to thank her teachers for choosing her for this honor.
