Einink, Schuster Take Top Honors In Division 2 West

Forward Jenna Einink of Chautauqua Lake was named the most valuable player and her coach, Eric Schuster, was named coach of the year in Division 2 West girls basketball.

Einink a junior, was joined on the first team by two other teammates and juniors as well in center Ashton Albanesius and guard Courtney Hewes.

Also on the first team were juniors Bridget Yaw and Talia Coccarelli of Sherman, junior Brittany Lenart of Panama and senior Kayla Gilkinson of Clymer.

Panama was named the team sportsmanship winner and Lenart was the division’s individual winner.

Individual sportsmanship winners were Brooke Kuschel of Brocton, Brittany Johnson of Cassadaga Valley, M.J. Trisket of Clymer, Emilee Sperry of Panama, Emily LaPorte of Westfield, Yaw of Sherman and Hewes of Chautauqua Lake.
