Dana A. Ulrich, 32, of Falconer was charged Wednesday with fourth-degree criminal mischief and third-degree assault. At approximately 2:30 p.m., police were called to investigate a domestic incident that occurred on East Main Street in Falconer. The investigation revealed that Ulrich allegedly slapped and broke the glasses of a male victim, causing swelling and pain to the face. Ulrich was remanded to Chautauqua County Jail.


David A. Liberto , 34, of Lakewood, was charged on Feb. 19 with second-degree menacing. It is alleged that Liberto was in the Wal-Mart parking lot with a friend, who insisted on driving because Ulrich was intoxicated. Ulrich reportedly took out a knife and threatened the friend not to take his keys away. A warrant was filed and Ulrich was charged.


Timothy E. Ford, 52, of Panama was charged Thursday with driving while intoxicated. After stopping for a disabled vehicle on Route 394 in Jamestown, state police detected a strong odor of alcohol coming from Ford’s vehicle. After field sobriety tests, Ford was transported to the State Police barracks in Jamestown for processing where a blood alcohol content of .22 was obtained. Ford will appear in Jamestown Court at a later date. He was released to a third party.
