March Into Randolph Set For This Weekend

RANDOLPH – For area residents who enjoy visiting unique local businesses, this is the weekend to visit Randolph.

Residents and businesses alike are preparing for the inaugural March Into Randolph event, which will be held Saturday, hosted by the Randolph Area Community Development Corporation.

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., area businesses will be stamping and signing the “passports” of participants who visit the businesses. Participants can pick up a passport to begin the event at any participating business and are encouraged to visit as many businesses as possible throughout the day.

If individuals get their passport stamped by at least five local businesses by 4 p.m., they will be entered into a drawing for a gift basket filled with goods from participating local businesses. Individuals can leave their passport at the last business they visit to be entered into the drawing, which will occur at the Randolph Library at 5 p.m. The winner will be contacted after the drawing.

Ann Schubert of Countryside Wine & Spirits said she plans to have wine and cheese samples available for participants.

“It sounds like a lot of fun – it will be an adventure,” she said.

Ellen Beck of the Randolph Free Library added that it will be a fun event for the community.

“Randolph is a great place to live and a great place to shop – I love it here.”

Participating area businesses include: The Inn At One Bank Street, Randolph Free Library, Randolph Auto Supply, Vern’s Restaurant (participating until noon), Betsy’s Country Shop, Radiantly You, Inkley’s Pharmacy & Gift Shop, Countryside Wine & Spirits, Fancy Phalanges Nail Salon, Randolph Retail, Creating Keepsakes, 129 Main Street Antiques, Yarn for Ewe & Cafe, Senn-Sations Salon & Day Spa, Forget-Me-Not Flowers & Gifts, Stillwater Feeds and Simply Natural Alpaca Gift Shop.
