CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
ARKWRIGHT – Douglas Minnich, 36, of Sinclairville was charged Tuesday with failure to yield the right of way at an intersection. At approximately 7:32 a.m., deputies responded to Route 83 for a two-car accident. Minnich allegedly failed to yield the right of way at the intersection of Route 83 and Center Road and pulled out in front of another vehicle. He will appear in Arkwright Court at a later date.
CHERRY CREEK – Ronald B. Lilley, 41, of Cherry Creek was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment. At approximately 8 p.m., deputies charged Lilley following an incident which occurred on Jan. 29 in which Lilley allegedly struck another individual during an altercation. He will appear in Cherry Creek Court at a later date.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Kristy M. Wisniewski, 30, of Jamestown was charged Monday with driving while intoxicated, open container, refusal to submit to pre-screen breath test, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of controlled substance by ultimate users container. At approximately 11:38 p.m., officers responded to 151 Barrett Ave. for a report of a vehicle that struck property at that location. Upon arrival, officers determined the driver – Wisniewski – was intoxicated. They also located an unmarked bottle of pills containing Tramadol, a controlled substance. Wisniewski refused to take a breath test at the Jamestown Police Department. She is awaiting arraignment by Jamestown City Court.
Charles Snyder, 30, of Jamestown was charged Monday with second-degree criminal contempt. At approximately 5 p.m., officers responded to a residence on Cheney Street for an order of protection violation check. Officers located Snyder inside the residence with a female victim, who had a valid Superior Court order of protection. Snyder was transported to the Jamestown City Holding Facility without any incident.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
OLEAN – Joanne A. Tickner, 39, of Olean was charged with disorderly conduct. At approximately 12:45 p.m., deputies charged Tickner after she allegedly behaved in a manner which was aggressive to Family Court staff members. She further continued to act in an unruly, aggressive and uncooperative manner, according to deputies. She will appear in court at a later date.
OLEAN – Jennifer L. Quintana, 34, of Olean was charged at her residence Sunday on a bench warrant issued out of Allegany Court. She was remanded to Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail and is due back in Allegany Court at a later date.
ASHFORD – Grant A. Newman, 31, of Springville was charged Feb. 15 with endangering the welfare of a child. At approximately 11:45 a.m., deputies charged Newman on a bench warrant issued out of Cattaraugus County Court. He was then turned over to Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Deputies and transported to the county jail. He is being held without bail and is awaiting arraignment.
HINSDALE – James F. Skinner, 27, of Hinsdale was charged Feb. 17 on a family court warrant. At approximately 10:17 a.m., deputies charged Skinner at his residence and transported him to Hinsdale Court for arraignment. He was remanded to Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $750 bail and is due in family court at a later date.
ASHFORD – Clarence G. Sanford, 48, of Buffalo was picked up by deputies at the Erie County Holding Center for a bench warrant issued out of Ashford Court. He was arraigned at Ashford Court and released.
LITTLE VALLEY – Angel M. Fischer, 30, of Little Valley was charged Sunday on a bench warrant issued out of Olean Court. She was turned over to the Olean Police Department for further processing.
SALAMANCA – Cody S. Burrows, 18, of Salamanca was charged Sunday on a violation of probation warrant issued out of Salamanca Court. He was turned over to the Salamanca Police Department for further processing.
ALLEGANY – Jason R. Whiteman, 31, of Olean was charged Monday on a warrant issued out of family court and transported back to the family court for arraignment. He was remanded to the county jail in lieu of $1,500 bail and is due back in family court at a later date.
OLEAN – Amy L. Gephart, 40, of Olean was charged Sunday with obstructing governmental administration. At approximately 12:10 p.m., Gephart was charged at her residence for obstructing governmental administration while deputies were attempting to execute a bench warrant. She is due back in Olean Court at a later date.
