JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Wayne Snyder Jr., 23, of Jamestown, was charged Sunday with resisting arrest as well as two outstanding felony warrants. Lorilynn Moriarty, 19, of Jamestown was charged Sunday with second-degree obstruction of governmental administration. At approximately 4:37 p.m., officers conducted a warrant check on Snyder at 119 E. Fifth St. Snyder possessed outstanding felony warrants out of Jamestown. Snyder and Moriarty were found inside the residence. Both refused to comply with officers as officers placed Snyder under arrest. Both were transported to city jail.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Carey L. Anderson, 31, of Willoughby, Ohio, was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated, DWI Per Se and speed in zone. At approximately 3:14 a.m., a patrol on Big Tree Road in Busti observed a vehicle at a high rate of speed. After stopping the vehicle, the officer determined that the driver-Anderson-was allegedly intoxicated. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.
ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
A juvenile was charged Saturday with fourth-degree criminal mischief. After police responded to a domestic incident on Hunt Road, they determined that a 14-year-old smashed a television. The youth was issued an appearance ticket for Family Court.
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
MACHIAS-Austin E. Moore, 19, of Farmersville, was charged on Feb. 16 with fourth-degree grand larceny, trespass and fourth-degree criminal mischief. At approximately 9 p.m., police charged Moore following an investigation of a stolen snowmobile on Marble Road. Moore was arraigned at Ashford Court where he posted bail and was released. He will appear at Ashford Court on a later date.
NEW YORK STATE POLICE
Michelle M. Armentrout, 44, of Falconer, was charged Sunday with DWI and failure to keep right. After police conducted a traffic stop on Route 394 in Ellicott, they detected a strong odor of alcohol coming from Armentrout’s vehicle. After field tests, she was transported to State Police Jamestown for processing where a BAC of .10 percent was obtained. Armentrout was issued tickets and will return to Ellicott Court at a later date. She was released to a third party.
