The Jamestown Lakers participated in the WNYAHL playoffs this Last weekend.

On Saturday, the Lakers defeated the Southtown Stars, 4-2.

Devin Wolfe opened the scoring an assist from Declan Brown.

After the Stars tied it up, Lucian Talbett scored midway through the third period to give the Lakers the lead. Evan Christensen and Zechariah Padd assisted on the goal.

Christensen scored the game-winner shortly afterwards with assists from Evan Bishop and Brown.

The Stars scored to pull within one before Trenton Shutters scored into an empty net on an assist from Cooper Bergman to seal the victory.

Jack Yost earned the win in goal for the Lakers.

With the win, the Lakers advanced to play the West Seneca Wings on Sunday.

The Lakers were down 2-0 before Shutters scored unassisted.

Brendan Hirliman scored to tie the game at 2-2 with assists from Bergman and Padd.

Despite numerous chances by the Lakers, the Wings prevailed 3-2 with 0:28 left in overtime.

Yost was strong again in net for the Lakers.
