Celoron Teenager Threatens Grandfather With Shotgun
CELORON-An 18-year-old Celoron man allegedly threatened to shoot his grandfather on Jan. 30 following an escalated argument.
According to the Ellicott Police Department, Jacob R. Webster began arguing with his grandfather while parked in a car outside his 65 Butler Ave. residence. Webster allegedly ripped off the passenger side visor during the altercation, police said.
After both entered the residence, Webster reportedly threatened his grandfather with a shotgun.
Officers responded to the scene at approximately 2:30 p.m. after someone reported a disorderly male.
As police apprehended Webster, they found he had a switchblade in his possession.
Webster was charged with criminal mischief, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon. He was arraigned in Ellicott Town Court and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail.
