Pennsylvania Fugitive Found Hiding Under Bed In City Residence

A Pennsylvania woman wanted on several outstanding warrants was found Monday morning hiding under her bed, according to police.

Amanda R. Kimpel, 32, was the subject of a warrant check by the Jamestown Police Department at her 376 S. Main St. residence at approximately 8:45 a.m. She was located hiding under a bed in a bedroom.

According to police, Kimpel had an outstanding arrest warrant, three bench warrants out of Jamestown, an outstanding New York state parole warrant and an outstanding theft warrant from Erie County, Pa.

She was taken into custody and additionally charged with second-degree obstructing government administration and felony fugitive from justice.
