Richard James Hutchison
On Feb. 3, 2014, Richard James Hutchison, 48, passed away in his home. He was born June 16, 1965, in Jamestown, N.Y., to Merle Hutchison and the late Josephine (Hagofsky) Hutchison. He was a 1984 graduate of Jamestown High School.
He had formerly been employed by Crawford Furniture and held several other jobs around the area.
Music and socializing were his favorite pastime.
An avid reader of vintage comic books, he had hoped to publish his own comics.
Sadly, this never happened, but it did not stop him from sharing his characters with whomever would listen. He had a very twisted sense of humor that he loved to share. He also enjoyed in nature, and had a great love for animals. His dogs were his best friends. He will be missed by all that knew him.
Besides his father, he is survived by his wife, Christina (Head) Hutchison of Albion, N.Y., whom he married June 2013; his sisters: Victoria and Denise of Jamestown; his brothers: Mark of Jamestown, Joseph of Meadville, Pa., and Merle Jr. of Washington; nieces: Nicole Howie, Kimberly Christensen and Brittany Hutchison, all of Jamestown; his nephew, Edward Christensen of Jamestown; great-nieces; Daja, Kayla, Kira, Bailey and Kali, all of Jamestown; great-nephews: Travis, Chicago and Illinois of Jamestown; along with aunts, uncles and cousins in Pennsylvania and Ohio.
Besides his mother who passed away in August 2009, he is preceded by his uncle, Andy.
Memorial services will be announced. Internment will be in Ford City, Pa.
