CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
SILVER CREEK-Sandra D. Cooper, 36, of Silver Creek, was charged Wednesday with third-degree assault. At approximately 1:48 a.m., deputies responded to a report of a physical altercation. Upon arrival, they observed a female with facial injuries. An investigation found that Cooper allegedly punched the female in the face multiple times which caused the aforementioned injuries. Cooper was arraigned in Silver Creek Court and committed to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of bail.
BEMUS POINT-Matthew E. Olson, 31, of Jamestown, was charged on Jan. 25 with second-degree burglary and third-degree grand larceny. At approximately 11:30 p.m., Olson allegedly entered a residence on North Everett Park Drive by going through the Bilco doors to the basement door. Once inside, Olson reportedly took a cash box with personal property and money inside. Olson was committed to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail or $30,000 property bond.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Melvin J. Berrios, 19, of Dunkirk, was charged Saturday with unlawful possession of marijuana. At approximately 6 p.m., Berrios was located at the Village Center Plaza in possession of a small amount of marijuana. He was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in Busti Court at a later date.
Mark J. Eppinger, 18, of Lakewood, was charged Sunday with unlawful possession of marijuana. At approximately 9 p.m., an officer stopped a car operated by Eppinger for a traffic infraction and discovered marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia inside. Eppiger admitted that the marijuana and paraphernalia belonged to him. He will appear in Busti Court at a later date.
