Dignity For All Students Training Set
FREDONIA – A state-mandated training session for professionals on the Dignity for All Students Act training will be held at the LoGuidice Educational Center on Monday and Tuesday.
The sessions run from 5-8 p.m. in the Coordinated Health Conference Room located in Building E, 9520 Fredonia-Stockton Road, Fredonia. Both sessions must be attended to receive full credit. The six-hour training fulfills the harassment, bullying and discrimination prevention and intervention training required for certification/licensure under the Dignity for All Students Act.
The Dignity Act requires school districts to create policies and guidelines used in school training programs to discourage the development of discrimination or harassment, and to enable employees to prevent and respond to discrimination or harassment.
A state Education Department certificate of completion will be provided for each course participant. The cost of this course is $65. To register, call 800-344-9611 or 672-4371, ext. 2145. Participants are asked to be at the training 15 minutes prior to start time.
