CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

William J. Torrence, 27, of Westons Mills was charged Monday with second-degree aggravated harassment and second-degree criminal contempt. At approximately 4:30 p.m., deputies charged Torrence following an incident that occurred in Portville. No further details were released. He is due back in court at a later date.

FREWSBURG – Carl A. Johnson Sr., 62, of Frewsburg was charged Tuesday with second-degree unlawful surveillance and eavesdropping, and possessing eavesdropping devices. The charges stem from an investigation into a report that Johnson intentionally installed an imaging device to view a person without their consent. Johnson will appear in Carroll Court at a later date.

POMFRET – Michael A. Orazio, 43, of Falconer was charged Sunday with second-degree aggravated unlicensed, operating a motor vehicle by an unlicensed driver and failure to notify change of home address. State Police charged Orazio after a computer check showed his license was suspended and expired. Orazio was arraigned at Pomfret Court where he posted $250 cash bail.
