Jacqueline E. MacNeil
FREWSBURG – Jacqueline E. MacNeil, 82, of Warren Road, Frewsburg, died Wednesday (Jan. 29, 2014), at Saint Vincent Health Center in Erie.
She was born March 6, 1931, in Jamestown, the daughter of Peter and Ragnhild Glad Hansen.
Before retiring she had been employed as a nurse at WCA and Warren State Hospital.
She loved and enjoyed spending time with her family, was a member of the Chautauqua County Home Bureau and was a former Eastern Star.
Jacqueline is survived by her children: Neil M. Mac-Neil of Jamestown, Mary (Michael lll) Mangine of Randolph, and Nancy (Dave) Conner of Frews-burg; closest friends, Albert and Barbara Martin and family of Frewsburg; eight grandchildren: Neil N. MacNeil, Nichole MacNeil, Jennifer Nelson, Megan Atkins, Westley Bennett, David Conner, Holly Ridell, and Ian Conner; three great-grandchildren; three brothers: David Hansen of Frewsburg, Arne Hansen of Pittsburgh, and Peter Hansen of Jamestown; two sisters: Ann Funicello of Arizona, and Noel Ulrich of Frewsburg.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Neil ”Sam” MacNeil, whom she married Nov. 25, 1950, and who died Feb. 17, 2010; and two brothers: Roald and Ralph Hansen.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Peterson Funeral Home, Frewsburg. The Rev. Ronald Lemon, pastor of Koinonia Christian Fellowship, will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 2-4:30 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
