Panama’s Banner Swim Season Continues

PANAMA – Panama used 47 personal bests and a new school record in the 200 free relay (1:37.98) to beat Olean, 96-90, for the first time in 22 years in a Division 1 boys swim meet on Thursday.

Coach Todd Conklin recorded his 50th career win and the Panthers completed their first back-to-back winning seasons since 1994-95.

Parker Roberts was a double winner for Panama in the 200 freestyle (2:03.99) and the 500 freestyle (5:45.43)

“It was a huge win for the Panama boys swim program,” said Conklin. “We have continued to get stronger every year and these boys work their tails off everyday.”
