Salamanca Residents Charged After Drug Bust
SALAMANCA – On Friday, members of the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force, assisted by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office, executed a search warrant at 3979 Bucktooth Run Road in Salamanca, resulting in the seizure of several types of narcotics.
Five grams of cocaine, several pounds of packaged marijuana, an indoor marijuana growing operation, pills, drug paraphernalia and U.S. currency were found inside the house. Steven J. Little, 57, and Holly R. Zawatski, 38, both of Salamanca, were charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance while Nikol R. Stellabuto, 38, of Salamanca, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
The warrant stemmed from an investigation lasting several months conducted by the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force, Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office and New York State Police into the sale and trafficking of illegal narcotics.
