Seneca Gaming’s Astran Named To PRSA Board
BUFFALO – The Buffalo Niagara Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America has announced its 2014 board of directors. The executive leadership includes: President Tony Astran, publicity manager, Seneca Gaming Corporation; President-Elect Jennifer Gallardo, account coordinator, corporate communications, Independent Health; Secretary Elizabeth Silverman, communications manager, SUNY Buffalo State’s Alumni Association; Treasurer Liam O’Mahony, APR, communications manager, Rich Products corporation; and Immediate Past President John DellaContrada, assistant vice president, University at Buffalo’s Office of Communications.
Directors-at-Large are Olivia Belter, community affairs director, Univera Healthcare; Kevin Manne, APR, assistant director of communications, University at Buffalo School of Management; and Diane Zwirecki, APR, principal and owner of Plans for Success. Assembly delegates include Kate LaBrake, director of marketing and communications, St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute; and Jessica Christensen, communications specialist, Praxair. Therese Hickok, vice president of marketing and engagement, Buffalo Niagara Partnership, will serve as the Chapter’s Public Relations Student Society of America liaison.
