Jamestown Swimmers Split Double Dual
WILLIAMSVILLE – Jamestown recorded had a 1-1 record in ECIC Division 1 boys swimming on Thursday night.
The Red Raiders beat Williamsville South, 72-30, and lost to Williamsville East, 55-47, to improve their record to 5-4.
Allan Smith of Jamestown was a double winner against East by winning the 200 freestyle in 1:56.81 and 500 freestyle in 5:10.55. He also picked up a victory against South.
Matthew Marsh of Jamestown came in second in the 100 breaststroke with a pool record of 1:01.72 while the East swimmer was first with another pool mark of 1:01.46. Marsh was also victorious in the 50 freestyle (2:22.54) against both teams.
The 200 relay team of Richi Gupta, Charlie Simons, Smith and Matthew Caldwell won against East with a 1:37.48 and also took the same event against South.
