CAP Creates Endowment Fund To Support Mission
An organization dedicated to bring healing, hope and justice to children and families in abusive situations has created another way for individuals and businesses to support their mission.
The Child Advocacy Program of Chautauqua County Fund was established to benefit the charitable purposes and operations of the Child Advocacy Program of Chautauqua County. Faced with growing numbers of children under the age of 18 subject to sexual, emotional and physical abuse, CAP provides a safe place for children, and their families, to connect with professionals in investigative and intervention services.
CAP also provides education and awareness classes to county residents to help prevent, recognize and react to these situations. Through community sponsors and individual donors, the classes are open to the public for a $10 fee that covers the cost of materials.
Located in Jamestown, CAP recently opened a satellite office in Dunkirk, to reach out and offer support to those in need across Chautauqua County.
