CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY

SHERIFF’S OFFICE

POMFRET-Michael P. Austin, 33, of Cassadaga, was charged Monday at approximately 4:30 p.m. after deputies conducted a warrant check for him. Austin was on the top 10 wanted list for the Sheriff’s Office. Austin was located in a trailer in Ulrich Park and was taken into custody without incident. He was committed to Chautauqua County Jail and will appear in court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Keith D. Felder, 22, of Jamestown, was charged Monday with speed in zone, driving while intoxicated and DWI per se. At approximately 12:26 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a four-door sedan that was traveling at a high rate of speed over the Third Street bridge. Upon stopping the vehicle near the intersection of Washington Street and West Second Street, officers determined that the driver-Felder-was intoxicated after smelling the odor of alcohol and performing a series of field sobriety tests-which Felder failed. Felder submitted a chemical test at the Jamestown City Jail that revealed his blood alcohol content was twice the legal limit, police said.

DEPARTMENT

Lisa D. Dale, 43, of Dunkirk, was charged Monday with driving while ability impaired with drugs and speeding. At approximately 12:10 a.m., an officer observed a vehicle on Hunt Road traveling at a high rate of speed. Upon investigation, it was determined that the driver-Dale-was under the influence of drugs. Dale will appear in Busti Court at a later date.

Jennifer W. Fain, 28, of Jamestown, was charged Friday with petit larceny. Fain was taken into custody after she was observed taking items from Wal-Mart without paying for them, police said. She was detained by Loss Prevention and turned over to police.
