Cork Karges, 58, of 1695 Cole Road, Panama, died Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, in his home.
He was born Feb. 17, 1955, in Westfield, N.Y., a son of the late Reginald and Joan Smith Karges.
He had been employed by the City of Rome, N.Y., as a mechanic for the police department.
He was a member of Late Night Legacy Motorcycle Club.
Surviving are his wife, Linda Seman Karges; four children: Orerisa Vanderworken and Natasha Carlabelle Cowling, both of Rome, N.Y., Christopher Naylor of Pennsylvania, and Jaci Mellors of Erie, Pa.; nine grandchildren; and two brothers: Paul Karges of Dolsville, N.Y., and Charles Karges of Utica, N.Y.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The funeral will be held at noon Monday in the family home.
Friends will be received in the family home from 3-5 p.m. Sunday and for one hour prior to the service Monday.
