Tommy Lee Fox

KENNEDY – Tommy Lee Fox, 64, of Kennedy, died Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, at Buffalo General Hospital.

He was born Oct. 11, 1949, in Jamestown, the son of the late Ward E. and Geneva Stonestreet Fox.

He was a 1967 graduate of Cassadaga Valley Central School and had attended Jamestown Community College. Tommy was a proud veteran of the Vietnam conflict serving with the U.S. Army. He was awarded the National Defense Service Metal, Vietnam Service Metal, Vietnam Campaign Metal, Army Commendation Metal, Combat Infantry Badge, Air Metal. and the Good Conduct Medal Bronze Star.

He was employed as a driver for Arthur R. Gren, Chase Interiors for 18 years as a cabinet maker and then as an over the road truck driver for more than 20 years with Atlantic Inland and J.B. Hunt.

Tommy enjoyed all sports, especially high school and college football and was an avid Bills and Sabres fan. He enjoyed watching his son race dirt Pro Stocks and was his biggest fan. He was very proud of his children and four granddaughters.

Husband of 39 years to Terry Harmon Fox, whom he married April 20, 1974; father of Michele “Mickey” (Christopher) Johnson of Ellington and Tommy L. (Jennifer) Fox Jr. of Jamestown; grandfather of Kayla, Alexandra and Morgan Johnson and Brianna Fox; brother of Danny (Kathy) Fox of Falconer, and the late Rita Dorman; sonin law of Martha Wilder Harmon of Sinclairville. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in Jordan Funeral Home, Sinclairville. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Cassadaga American Legion.
