WEEK 9

OPEN LEAGUE

In week nine of the Shults Auto Group Adult Hockey League, Monnies picked up a 12-9 win against Pizza Express following four goals and five assists by Larry Dupere.

Brian Wojcinski also managed two goals and four assists in the win while Travis Nowicki picked up two goals and an assist.

For Pizza Express, Travis Sanders supplied most of the offense with four goals and a pair of helpers, while Garret Jones notched a hat trick and three assists.

Also scoring for Monnies was Brian Crawford with a pair and Dylan Gethicker with another two, while Bryan Muecke and Jesse Gould also pumped in goals for Pizza.

The Blue Bombers fell to El Greco, 8-5, after Ryan Arnone picked up two goals and John Melcher three for the winners.

Scoring for the Bombers was Mike Hurley and Brysten Jones, while Pat Hurley picked up his own hat trick.

Dan Brunenavs, Eric Martin, and Craig Hinderleider also lit the lamp for El Greco, with Brunenavs adding three helpers.

Assists for the Bombers came from Alex Faulk with three, and Jesse Watkins, Jones, Tim Hurley, and Mike Hurley with one a piece.

Doug Weaver and Adam Sadowski were able to lead Jamestown Skate Products past Hatrick Swayze, 7-6, with two goals and two assists each.

Also scoring for the winners were Dan Cheney, Mike Brown, and Pete Scheira.

Scheira chipped in a pair of helpers as did Mark Chimera.

Tom Mazzurco led Hatrick Swayze with a pair of goals and two assists, while goals were also scored by Stefan Alm, Levi Madden, and Steve Frangione.

B LEAGUE

In a defensive battle, Lakewood Apothecary tied Warren Eardocs 3-3.

Greg Whitermore found the back of the net for Apothecary, while Chris Yost picked up a pair with two helpers coming from Mike Brown.

Scoring for the Eardocs was John Jablonski, Craig Hinderleider, and Patrick Allen .

Assists for the Eardocs came from Erik Carlson, George Ciancio, and Wolf-Dieter Krahn.

Ben Farnham and Matt Englebert scored two goals each and Jeremy Johnson and Jon Zigler added one as Superior Tire/Northwest Savings Bank tripled the score on Hiller Tire Service, 6-2.

Matt Wilkins, Wes Kaminski, Chevy Rowland, Johnson, Engelbert and Zigler had assists for the winners.

Steve Waite and Braiden Streed delivered Hiller Tire Service goals while Randy Daugharthy assisted twice and Ernest Lawson once.

Jim Krause and Ryan Arnone drilled hat tricks when Andriaccio’s walloped Team Kolstee, 11-2.

Dennis Lefler, Jason Maybach, Chuck Holder, Mike Ginestre and Andy Pope contributed the other goals for Andriaccio’s.

Jim Krause, Al Maybach, Ginestre and Lefler tallied two assists while Holder, Pope and Jason Maybach added one each in the win.

Dave Mabee and Matt Rupp scored for Team Kolstee against winning net minder Bob Samuelson. Matt Rupp, Justin Pilling, Gregg Kolstee and Matt Spillane had assists.

Southside Redemption Center squeezed past Steeners Pub, 4-3.

Ben Sample, David Levandowski, Brock Wadsworth and Ryan Melquist tallied goals for South Side with an assist by Levandowski.

For Steeners, Derek Watkins tallied twice and Tom Cocker once while assists went to Cocker, Jeff Anderson, Justin Murray, Pete Walter, Ginny Greene and Jim Cirbus.

Goalie Brian Madison was the winner and goalie Andrew Hill took the tough-luck loss.

WEEK 10

OPEN LEAGUE

Pat Hurley recorded four goals and Brysten Jones chipped in with a pair of goals to lead Jamestown Skate Products past Schuyler’s Blue Bombers, 8-6.

Ray Spacht and Alex Faulk delivered the rest of the goals in the victory.

Faulk added three assists, Randy Stuart two assists, Tom McFall, Mike Hurley, Zach Imus and Spacht one assist for the winners.

Nate Wigren, Adam Sadowski and Doug Weaver each tallied two goals with Wigren and Weaver having one assist as did Pete Scheira in the loss.

Behind the hat trick from John Melcher, El Greco crushed Monnies, 11-4.

Two goals each went to Ryan Arnone, Dan Brunenavs and Eric Martin while one to Craig Hinderleider for the winners.

Ian Morgan had four assists, Zach Narusewicz three and Martin two for the victors. Arnone, Brunenavs. Hinderleider, John Melcher and Kevin Harvey had an assist each.

Mike Nelson’s three goals paced Monnies while Dylan Gethicker added one. Travis Nowicki and Brian Wojcinski recorded two assists each while one went to Mike Milligan and Gethicker.

Garret Jones paved the way with three goals and an assist as Pizza Express tied Hatrick Swayze, 6-6.

Travis Sanders scored twice and Rick Turner one for Pizza Express. Sanders added two assists, Jake Andriaccio, Bud Tomassi, Jesse Gould, Jason Maybach and Jones each had one.

Nathan Meelan’s two goals sparked Hatrick Swayze while one apiece went to Stefan Alm, Dave Foti, Jonathan Alm and Levi Madden.

Two assists went to Tom Mazzurco and Nick Madden while an assist each was picked up by Tank Spitz, Stefan Alm, Jonathan Alm, Steve Frangione and Meelan in defeat.

B LEAGUE

Eric Herman’s two goals guided Southside Redemption past Hiller Tire Service, 5-3.

Jim Manno, Dave Levandowski and Brock Wadsworth had the rest of the Southside goals.

Jason Coleson and Jim Manno had two assists and Ben Sample one for Southside.

Jesse Gould tallied twice and Braiden Streed one while Tom Hemdal assisted once for Hiller’s against winning goalie Brian Madison.

Andrew Garvey was in goal when the Warren Eardocs prevailed over the Superior Tire/Northwest Savings Bank, 3-1.

Mike Mitchell, Chris Derkovitz and George Ciancio were the goal scorers for the winners and Erik Carlson and Rob Bates assisted.

Rob Talett with an assist from Matt Wilkins got the lone goal against Garvey.

In another 3-1 decision, it was Lakewood Apothecary over Team Kolstee.

Scoring for LA were Chris Yost, Jeff Rhodes and Jeff Kresge with two assists by Mike Brown and one by Yost.

Matt Rupp avoided the whitewash job by LA with an assist by Matt Spillane.

Steener’s Pub decisioned Andriaccio’s 7-3, backed by two goals by Derek Watkins, Jeff Anderson and Tom Cocker.

Eric Greene had the other tally for Steener’s while Jim Cirbus notched four assists, Cocker two, Jeff Anderson one and Greene one in support of goalie Andrew Hill.

Andy Pope, Dennis Lefler and Frank Lauricella each had a goal for Andriaccio’s. Assists were picked up by Chaz Holder, Jason Maybach, Ryan Arnone and Lauricella.

WEEK 11

OPEN LEAGUE

Mike Hurley and Alex Faulk split four goals as Schuyler’s Blue Bombers took care of Pizza Express, 6-3.

John Schuyler and John Pagorzelski had the other goals for the Blue Bombers. Faulk delivered three assists, Mike Hurley and Jesse Watkins two each in support of goalie Jeff Warden.

Travis Sanders scored all the goals for the Pizza Express with a hat trick while Jake Andriaccio had two assists, Joe Smith and Al Maybach also had one each.

Dylan Gethicker had a very productive performance with seven goals and an assist as Monnies drubbed Hatrick Swayze, 13-7.

John Dupere added three goals, Mike Nelson two and Larry Dupere one for the victors.

Joining Gethicker with an assist is Ray DeLand, both Duperes, Travis Nowicki, Brian Wojcinski and Mike Milligan for Monnies.

For Hatrick Swayze, Matt Spunaugle scored twice, Clint Hagmaier, Nick Madden, Dave Foti, Stefan Alm and Tom Mazzurco once with all the goals being unassisted.

El Greco got involved in a high-scoring tussle with Jamestown Skate Products before prevailing, 9-7.

Ryan Arnone scored the hat trick, Eric Martin and Craig Felton two each in the win. Dan Brunenavs and Kevin Harvey each added a goal.

Craig Hinderleider had four assists, Evan Morgan and John Melcher two as did Harvey while one went to Brunenavs, Martin and Dimitri Theofilactidis for the winners.

Doug Weaver, Adam Sadowski and Adam Hover scored twice and Pete Scheira once in the loss.

Weaver assisted on four goals, Dan Cheney three, Scheira, Adam Sadowski and Hover one in the loss.

B LEAGUE

In a wild game, it was Steener’s Pub outlasting Hiller Tire Service, 13-9, with Eric Greene having five goals and three assists and Jim Cirbus seven assists and two goals.

Tom Cocker had the hat trick, Derek Watkins added two and Greg Wozneak one for the winners. Assists went to Watkins and Wozneak with four each, Ginny Greene three and Cocker one.

Braiden Streed, Dave Lawson and Nino Calimeri scored twice in defeat and Ernest Lawson, Steve Waite and Jesse Gould once.

Streed had two assists, Dave Lawson and Dan Blixt also two assists while one went to Ernest Lawson, Marty Willow and Gould in the loss.

David Levandowski’s four goals highlighted Southside Redemption to a 5-3 edge over Andriaccio’s.

Jim Manno tallied the other goal for Southside, which got assists from Jason Coleson and Eric Herman.

Ryan Arnone scored twice and picked up an assist while Mike Ginestre added the other goal for Andriaccio’s. Chuck Holder delivered two assists and Jim Krause an assist.

Chris Derkovitz and Patrick Allen tallied twice as the Warren Eardocs defeated the Team Kolstee, 5-3.

Jeff Morgan and Erik Carlson added assists to the winning cause in support of goalie Andrew Garvey.

Matt Spillane, Dave Mabee and Matt Rupp tallied for Team Kolstee with assists to Gregg Kolstee and Rod Kolstee.
