CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Daniel P. Hido, 25, of Girard, Pa., was charged Tuesday with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or greater and moving from lane unsafely. At approximately 7:04 p.m., deputies responded to a vehicle off the road on I-86 westbound. Upon locating the vehicle, deputies determined that Hido was the driver and allegedly found intoxicated. Hido was taken into custody and later released with uniform traffic tickets. Hido will appear in Sherman Court at a later date.
DUNKIRK – Mark Petz, 30, of Dunkirk was charged Thursday with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI, moving from lane unsafely and leaving the scene of a property damage accident. At approximately 2:16 a.m., deputies responded to a report of a vehicle off the roadway and into a tree. Upon arrival, deputies learned the driver had left the scene of the accident. Petz was eventually found intoxicated and taken into custody by deputies. He was issued appearance tickets.
