Man Choked, Stabbed After Crock-Pot Dispute
A Jamestown woman reportedly choked and stabbed a man after he allegedly turned off her Crock-Pot early Christmas morning.
According to the Jamestown Police Department, officers were dispatched to 59 Prospect St. at approximately 12:34 a.m., where it was determined that Bridget G. Putnam, 21, allegedly choked a male victim and stabbed him in the left arm with a kitchen knife after he shut off her Crock-Pot.
Putnam was charged with second-degree assault and criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation.
Since she was also found in possession of a controlled substance, Putnam was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Putnam is currently in Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment.
