JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Nichole Verrett, 26, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with petit larceny. At approximately 12 p.m., officers were dispatched to Big Lots on 39 S. Main St. for a shoplifting incident. Upon arrival, officers determined that Verrett was the suspect involved in the shoplifting incident. Verrett was transported to Jamestown City Jail.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Alan B. Dowdy, 22, of Great Valley was charged Dec. 11 with leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash, driving without a license, failure to keep right and aggravated driving while intoxicated. At approximately 4:55 a.m., deputies were called to the scene of a motor vehicle crash on Route 417. Upon investigation, it was determined that Dowdy was the operator. He was not injured. Dowdy will appear in Great Valley Court at a later date.

Jordan D. Spry, 24, of Randolph was charged Monday with violation of probation. At approximately 4:23 p.m., deputies took Spry into custody for violating probation. He was remanded to Cattaraugus County Jail.

  • Donald L. Sturdevant, 57, of Warren, Pa., was charged Tuesday with driving while intoxicated. At approximately 8:04 p.m., officers determined Sturdevant was intoxicated after he made a right turn on a red light, where it was posted “No Turn on Red.”
