The Future Is Bright

To The Reader’s Forum:

I just watched “Gone With The Wind” on T.V. – again! I’ve watched it many times. It tells the story of two families in the South during hte time of the Civil War – 1860s.

How times have changed! Since then so many things have happened to make our lives easier: electricity, indoor plumbing, autos, airplanes, helicopters, trains, vaccinations, organ transplants, all kinds of life-saving medicines. Plus things for our enjoyment – cameras, movies, television and the list goes on. Plus, we put a man on the moon!

Imagine what wonderful things will take place in the next 150 years.
