Clymer Boys Roll To Bowling Victory

CUTTING – Clymer improved its record 6-1-1 by edging Forestville in pinfall, 2,522-2,520, and in games, 3-1, in Division 2 West boys bowling on Monday.

David Applebee was high with 177-177-170-524 followed by Braydon Dobson with a 211-164-514 as Clymer recorded games of 889-835-772 compared to Forestville’s 845-767-879.

Brad Dillenburg scattered 241-155-214-610 and John Murphy a 177-148-166- 491 for Forestville.

Forestville opened its girls season by blanking Clymer, 4-0, and in total pinfall, 511-528-549-1,588. Clymer, meanwhile, had games of 477-544-531-1,471.

Sarah Rose Pleva shot a 168-160-166-444 and Shawntai LeBarron a 154-422 for the winners.

Jenelle Ingalls drilled a 156-422 and Jill McIntyre a 155-416 for Clymer.

FREDONIA, DUNKIRK SPLIT

FREDONIA – Both boys and girls split at 2-2 in the Dunkirk and Fredonia West Division 1 match.

Brandon Haase pounded out a 221-574, Peter Kubera a 224, Seamus Raynor a 222 and Casey Surma a 201 for Dunkirk, which had singles of 956-880-861-2,697 for the boys.

Collin Schanzlin drilled a 226-561, Ricky Burgstrom a 225-557, Jeff Rowe a 201-553 and Nick Pagano a 208 for Fredonia, which connected for a 815-984-894-2,693.

Elizabeth Valvo delivered 182-191-522 and Genna Riddle a 194 as Fredonia scattered 732-841-772-2,345 in a 2-2 stalemate with Dunkirk.

Caty Chase upended 170-501, Hannah Schnur a 180, Ally Clement a 175 and Adrianna Patrick a 170 for Dunkirk, which recorded a 778-708-795-2,281.
