Food Truck To Deliver Today

ASHVILLE – The Western New York Food Express Truck will be at the Ashville United Methodist Church from noon-1:30 p.m. and 3:30-5 p.m. today. There is no charge for the fresh produce or other items that will be available. The Western New York Food Bank supplies many areas in Western New York with express trucks. For the Ashville site, those receiving food need to show proof of address for one of the following ZIP codes: Ashville 14710, Bemus Point 14712, Celoron 14720, Lakewood 14750, Niobe 14758, Panama 14767, Stow 14785 and during the winter months Clymer 14724 and Sherman 14781. Those attending should bring their own bags.

Seniors To

Meet Thursday

The Harmony Senior Citizens met for a Thanksgiving dinner at the Rowdy Rooster recently. Sixty members and guests were in attendance. Ellen Lord was the eldest person celebrating a birthday. The Christmas Angel Tree tags were passed out. The gifts are to be brought to the senior meeting on Thursday. The meeting will be held at noon at the Panama United Methodist Church. The meeting will feature a pork loin dinner. The cost is $8.

AARP Christmas Lunch Is Dec. 10

The cutoff date for buying tickets for the AARP’s Christmas luncheon is Thursday. The luncheon takes place Tuesday, Dec. 10, at noon at First Luncheon Church. To reserve tickets, call 485-6589.

Christmas Dinner Set For Today

SINCLAIRVILLE -The Valley Historical Society annual Christmas gathering and potluck dinner will be held at 6 p.m. today in the South Stockton Wayside Chapel. Members should bring a dish of food to pass and their table service. The program will summarize annual research projects and new officers will be elected.

Beekeepers To Meet Thursday

The Chautauqua County Beekeepers Association will meet for the annual Christmas meeting on Thursday in the Frank Bratt Ag Center on Airport Hill at 7 p.m. Members attending this social event should take a plate of food, made with honey, to share. All are welcome to attend.

Blue Christmas Set For Dec. 12

WESTFIELD – Blue Christmas, “a service of light and hope for when Christmas hurt, for it is not the most wonderful time of the year and rejoicing is hard work” will be held on on Thursday, Dec. 12 and Dec. 19, in St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 12 Elm St., Westfield, at 7 p.m.

Meet For Lunch

KIANTONE – The Kiantone Congregational Church ladies aid met for lunch with 14 members attending. The lunch was hosted by Marilyn Lewis and Karen Swanson. Reports were given by Barbara Kost, secretary, and Joan Spontaneo, treasurer. Readings from ”Bird and Bloom” were given by Irene Levan, president. The meeting closed with prayer.

Marco Polo Club To Host Dinner

The Marco Polo Club will host its spaghetti dinner from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Saturday at its club, 1027 E. Second St., Jamestown. Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for children ages 12 and under.
