Area Police Reports


Calvin B. Olson, 65, of Jamestown was involved in a motor vehicle accident Monday. At approximately 12:22 p.m., deputies responded to a vehicle accident on Slide Fenner Road in Ellery. Upon investigation, it was determined that Olson was traveling northbound when his vehicle left the east side of the road and struck a utility pole. Olson was transported to UPMC Hamot for unknown injuries. Investigation is continuing into the cause for the accident.

Floyd R. Berry, 35, of Brocton was charged Tuesday with second-degree harassment and disorderly conduct. At approximately 2:10 p.m., Berry became disorderly while in a doctor’s appointment and stated he was going to return with a shotgun. Deputies took Berry into custody without incident, Berry was arraigned and committed to Chautauqua County Jail on bail.


Skyler M. Irish, 22, of Randolph was charged Tuesday with criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument. At approximately 12:24 a.m., deputies and Randolph Regional EMS responded to a call about an unconscious female at 23 Jamestown St. Upon investigation, it was determined that Irish was in possession of a hypodermic instrument. Skyler is due back in the Town of Randolph Court at a later date.
