Villenova Man Charged For Child Pornography
VILLENOVA – A local man was taken into custody Thursday after a lengthy investigation into child pornography.
Christopher G. Travis, 30, of Villenova was charged with numerous counts of possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child, three counts of promoting a sexual performance by a child and three counts of unlawful surveillance.
New York State Police, including the Troop A Computer Crimes Unit, seized computers and equipment that contained numerous images of child pornography after receiving a search warrant.
Travis was arraigned in the Town of Hanover Court by Justice Walter Klyczek and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail on $50,000/$100,000 bail.
