Argument Leads To I-86 Crash
SALAMANCA-An argument inside a vehicle led to a car crash and a passenger being ejected Saturday night.
At approximately 10:43, Dillon L. Penelle, 24, of Bradford, Pa., was traveling on Interstate 86 when an argument with his passenger allegedly caused him to jerk the steering wheel. The vehicle crashed into a wire guardrail, according to a press release issued Wednesday morning by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Department. The passenger – whose name has not been released – was ejected from the vehicle and sustained injuries.
Penelle was charged with second-degree assault, second-degree reckless endangerment, failure to keep right and unlicensed operator.
