Area Police Reports

ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT

Ronald M. Livk, 73, of Falconer was charged Wednesday with second-degree criminal nusiance. At approximately 4 p.m., Livk was arrested for an incident that occurred Saturday, in which he defecated on a sidewalk in Falconer and left the area, endangering the safety and health of others. Livk is due to appear in the Town of Ellicott Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

James C. Blue of Jamestown was charged Thursday with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and violation of federal probation. At approximately 8 a.m., Jamestown Police Drug Enforcement assisted agents of the U.S. Probation office in arresting Blue at his apartment. The operation was part of an ongoing investigation of drug sales in the city. Blue’s apartment was found to have approximately 4.3 grams of cocaine and other evidence of drug use and distribution. A quantity of U.S. currency was also seized. Blue will we arraigned in Jamestown City Court.

John A. West, 28, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operator, failure to signal turn, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminally possessing a hypodermic needle and criminal tampering of physical substance. At approximately 11:57 a.m., officers observed West fail to signal when making a turn. During a traffic stop, West tried to dispose a small amount of heroin. Officers found a hypodermic needle in West’s car. West was transported to Jamestown City Jail.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Martin L. Seekings, 50, of Jamestown was charged Thursday with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Seekings was issued an appearance ticket after allegedly stealing property from Foot Locker.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Ian J. Macneal, 22, of Portville was charged Tuesday with violation of probation. At approximately 4:50 p.m., Macneal was taken into custody on a warrant for violation of a probation. Macneal was taken for arraignment in the Village of Portville Court. He was released and will appear in court at a later date.

Zachary R. Richardson, 21, of Killbuck was charged Wednesday with fourth-degree criminal mischief. At approximately 2 a.m., deputies responded to a domestic incident between Richardson and his father. Richardson was arrested for destroying property within the residence. Richardson was taken to the Town of Carroll Court for arraignment and was held on $1,000 bail to return to Great Valley Court on a later date.

PENNSYLVANIA STATE POLICE

Evan A. Ritt, 20, of Lakewood, Colorado, was involved in a motor-vehicle accident Tuesday. At approximately 9:15 p.m., Ritt struck a bear while traveling north on Route 62. The impact to the driver’s-side front fender caused disabling damage, requiring towing.
